Sérénité Exterior PlanS.V. Sérénité is a 1984, Jeanneau Sun Fizz masthead sloop designed by Phillipe Briand and built in Les Herbiers France. The Sun Fizz is the successor model to the Gin Fizz which was used by Laura Dekker in 2010 to set the world record for the youngest person to solo circumnavigate the planet. Sérénité’s had many modifications over the years and is currently being updated and modernised for extended cruising. To follow Susanne and Sérénité’s adventures visit the Blog section of this site. The Jeanneau Sun Fizz was also the subject of extensive destructive testing by Yachting Monthly to demonstrate safety and survival at sea during common nautical emergencies.
